Conquering Europe: The Number 1 Outlet on the Continent

The Best in Europe: Serravalle has been chosen as the number 1 outlet on the continent.

The prestigious Italian outlet Serravalle Designer Outlet was selected as the best shopping center in Europe for 2025 according to the annual report Outlet Centre Performance Report Europe (OCPRE), produced by the real estate consulting company Ecostra and the French research institute Magdus.

The ranking is based on a comprehensive annual survey conducted among international brands across Europe, assessing the economic performance of individual stores within different outlet centers. In addition to the ranking of centers' economic performance, the report also includes an evaluation of operator performance from the perspective of tenants. This year, for the first time since 2016, criteria related to location and ownership were also analyzed, along with their impact on brands' decisions to lease commercial space in these centers.

The success of the McArthurGlen group, which operates the center, is not limited to Serravalle: its centers in Roermond (Netherlands) and Málaga (Spain) ranked in second and third places respectively—an achievement that further strengthens the group’s position as a leader in Europe’s outlet centers.

Following this impressive ranking, McArthurGlen received the prestigious title of "Best Outlet Operator in Europe for 2024" from Magdus.

In total, eight centers of McArthurGlen made it into the top ten and twenty leading rankings:
Serravalle (1st place), Roermond (2nd), Málaga (3rd), Cheshire Oaks (6th), Castel Romano and Noventa di Piave (8th place jointly), Parndorf (10th), and York (11th).

It was also reported that last December, the group won the "Silk Road 2024" award at the China Awards, presented by the Italian-Chinese Council (ICCF).
The award was given to Serravalle Designer Outlet for its pioneering role in developing commercial and institutional collaborations with China—a testament to the group's commitment to a quality shopping experience, attracting international visitors, and strengthening ties with the Chinese market.
