Delta Air Lines is resuming its direct route between Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER) and New York’s JFK Airport, with daily flights launching this week. The flights will depart from Berlin in the morning and are scheduled to arrive in New York at 12:30 PM (local time).

The route reinstatement was first announced by Brandenburg Airport and marks a strategic step in Delta’s broader expansion across Europe.

This move reinforces Delta’s growing transatlantic presence and follows the airline’s ongoing commitment to restoring its global network to pre-pandemic and pre-conflict frequencies. Notably, Delta continues to operate its direct route between New York and Tel Aviv and is expected to be among the first major U.S. carriers to return to full service levels on this important route.

In parallel with its network expansion, Delta recently unveiled a major digital upgrade for international travelers. As previously reported by PassportNews, the airline will begin offering free satellite Wi-Fi on long-haul international flights — including those to Israel and Europe for members of its SkyMiles frequent flyer program (membership is free).

This tech-forward initiative positions Delta as a leader in in-flight connectivity, meeting the growing demand among travelers for seamless internet access even at cruising altitude.

With the relaunch of the Berlin–New York service and its new onboard digital services, Delta is doubling down on a passenger-first approach one that blends comfort, connectivity, and innovation to elevate the flying experience, even at 35,000 feet.
