Following the earthquake that occurred in Thailand on March 28, the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) reports that regular activities in Bangkok – including public transportation and tourism services – continue as usual, without disruptions.
Thai Prime Minister, Phatongter Shinnawatra, stated that "the situation has stabilized" and that businesses in the capital city and in key tourist areas are returning to full operation.

At the same time, the Tourism Authority of Thailand launched, in collaboration with the Thailand Hotels Association (THA) and the Bangkok Building organization, the Amazing Thailand OK Establishment initiative – a proactive measure aimed at improving and ensuring safety standards in hotels, both for tourists and local residents.

According to TAT's announcement, thanks to the cooperation of the local sector and the resilience of the key players within it, all hotels that are members of PATA – the Pacific Asia Travel Association – are operating as usual and are ready to welcome guests.

PATA is considered a leading international organization promoting sustainable tourism, professional collaborations, and the development of the sector in Asia and the Pacific. Its participation in the national effort to return to normalcy constitutes a significant boost to the global market's confidence in Thailand as a safe and welcoming destination.
