The annual Arab Travel Fair (ATM) will take place at the Dubai World Trade Center from April 28 to May 1.
This year's fair will mark significant growth in the participation of global tourism sector representatives from key regions, including Asia, the Middle East, Europe, Africa, and the Americas, reflecting a sustained recovery and rise in demand across the global tourism industry.
ATM 2025 will focus on the theme "Global Travel: Developing Tomorrow's Tourism Through Enhanced Connectivity." The fair is expected to attract around 50,000 participants and over 2,600 exhibitors.
According to UN data, about 1.4 billion international tourists were registered worldwide in 2024, an 11% increase from the previous year. The data also indicated that the Middle East was the best-performing region compared to 2019, with a 32% rise compared to the year before the COVID-19 pandemic. The forecast anticipates that international tourism in 2025 is expected to grow by 3 to 5 percent.
"Asia is the fastest-growing region at ATM 2025, with a 27% increase in the number of exhibitors. This growth is largely attributed to improved regional connectivity and stronger ties with international markets, driving expansion opportunities," noted Danielle Curtis, Exhibition Director.
The fair takes place at the Dubai World Trade Center, and the strategic partners of ATM 2025 include: Dubai's Department of Economy and Tourism (DET), Emirates, the official airline, IHG Hotels & Resorts, the official hotel partner, and Al Rais Travel, the official tourism partner.
