Following a decision by the Board of Directors of Air France-KLM, Florence Parly has been appointed Chair of the Board, based on the recommendation of the Nominations and Corporate Governance Committee. Her appointment will take effect on June 4, 2025, after the approval of the 2024 financial statements at the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders.
Parly, who joined the Board in December 2023, will succeed Anne-Marie Couderc, who has held the position since May 2018.

With Parly’s appointment, Air France-KLM reinforces its strong female leadership at the top:
Marjan Rintel has served as CEO of KLM since 2022, and Anne Rigail has led Air France as CEO since 2018.
At the group level, Benjamin Smith will remain CEO of Air France-KLM and continue overseeing the group’s strategic direction.
In her statement, Couderc proudly highlighted the progress made by the group under her leadership: "We have overcome challenging periods and strengthened the foundations of the group. I am confident that with the new leadership, Air France-KLM will continue to grow and strengthen."
