Dubai Airport attributes the increase in passenger traffic to the growing demand during global holiday periods, spring vacations, and the busy early-year season. Destinations like the Czech Republic, Vietnam, and Spain recorded double-digit growth in passenger traffic.

DXB also notes that it remains the busiest international airport in the world for the 11th consecutive year, with connections to 269 destinations in 106 countries, through 101 airlines.

Paul Griffiths, CEO of Dubai Airports: "Our performance in the first quarter provides a strong foundation for the upcoming year, not only in terms of passenger numbers but also in airport quality. Managing high volumes is no small feat, requiring precision, flexibility, and an extraordinary team effort."
