The upcoming summer is expected to bring increased movement between Cyprus and Saudi Arabia, as Saudi Airlines, the national airline of Saudi Arabia, will begin operating weekly direct flights from Larnaca Airport to Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, starting from the coming season.
The historical route will commence on June 17, 2025, and will operate twice a week.

This initiative aims to improve air connectivity between the nations, offering a convenient and direct option for both tourists and businesspeople, as part of the joint effort to strengthen cooperation between Cyprus and Saudi Arabia.
The new route is expected to contribute to mutual tourism development, encourage investments, and expand business activities between the countries, while also strengthening Saudi Arabia's presence in the European and regional aviation scene.
