The credit card company Max is making a significant move into the tourism market by launching Max Travel – a groundbreaking digital platform offering Israelis a new way to book vacations and save for the next trip.
The company notes that it is not just about flights and hotels – but an intelligent interface, a range of complementary services, and a unique cashback model, the first of its kind in Israel, which refunds real money to the customer for future use with every booking.
Max Travel offers all holiday components in one place: flights with all airlines, hotels in Israel and abroad, diverse vacation packages, and soon also attractions and activities. Bookings are made online with full service in Hebrew – including via WhatsApp – with a convenient personal area for managing the booking.
A Vacation That Pays Back
The big news brought by Max is the financial model: with every booking through Max Travel – you accumulate money for your next vacation.
To celebrate the launch, customers will receive a 10% refund from their first booking – for example, a holiday costing 20,000 ILS (approximately $5,600) returns 2,000 ILS (approximately $560) to be used for the next booking.
In the future, cashback accumulation will be according to the type of product:
Up to 10% on hotels
Up to 7% on vacation packages
Up to 5% on flights
The benefit will be given to Max cardholders with a monthly cycle of 2,000 ILS (approximately $560) or more – and is valid for a wide variety of destinations.
Partnership with SkyGini and the Ofakim FCM Group
Max chose to operate the platform through SkyGini, an advanced technology company owned by the Ofakim FCM Group – one of Israel's leading travel groups.
