Aegean Airlines continues to expand its presence in Cyprus.
The Greek airline is launching a new route between Larnaca and Rome, operating three times a week.
This move is another step in the successful collaboration with Larnaca International Airport, which continues to gradually expand its network of routes and air connections from the Cypriot island.
The new route is a significant addition to the connection between Cyprus and Italy's capital, offering passengers flexibility, convenience, and more options for travel, business, or onward flights to other destinations in Europe.
A statement from Larnaca Airport said: "The relationship with Aegean is longstanding, and the new route is proof of mutual trust and a shared vision for developing Cyprus aviation as a significant regional hub. We are pleased to see this partnership yielding results."
The move highlights Aegean's commitment to expanding its operations in Cyprus and confidence in the local market, as part of the strategy to strengthen ties between Greece, Cyprus, and leading aviation hubs in Europe.
