Air France announces the launch of a new direct flight route between Paris and the Maldives – offering a tropical getaway during one of the busiest periods of the year.

The route will operate from December 19, 2025, to January 4, 2026, with up to twice-weekly flights, catering to the increasing demand for holidays during the Christmas, New Year, and winter vacation periods.

As part of the schedule, there will be up to two weekly flights during the high-demand winter season, Christmas, and New Year's holidays. The flights will be conducted on wide-body Boeing 777-300 aircraft, featuring 369 seats and offering full service in three classes, including Business and Premium Economy.

Air France, one of Europe's most renowned and established airlines, is part of the Air France-KLM Group and a key player in the international aviation network with over 220 destinations worldwide. The airline is known for its high-quality European service, maintaining top standards of comfort and safety, and providing a meticulous flight experience from ground to air.

In recent years, the company has focused on innovation, sustainability, and strategic destinations, including opening seasonal routes to popular tropical locations, emphasizing maximum passenger comfort.

What About Israel?

As recalled, Air France suspended its flights to Ben Gurion Airport last week following a Houthi missile strike towards the airport, causing a temporary halt in operations of several foreign airlines.
However, the company is considering resuming its operations to Israel, pending another security assessment set to occur in the coming days.
