Passenger traffic at Cyprus' airports, Larnaca and Paphos, surpassed the one million passenger mark in April for the first time in history.
1.158 million passengers marked a significant milestone, as April recorded the best figures ever, signaling a promising start to an especially excellent summer season.
In Larnaca, 806,000 passengers were recorded in April, a 23% increase compared to last year, while Paphos saw 352,000 passengers, a 16% increase compared to April 2024.
These results reflect the strong demand for Cyprus as a leading tourist destination already in the early stages of spring before the peak summer season.
