Single-ticket access to 59 European flights. Following an agreement with Delta Air Lines and Korean Air to purchase a 25% stake in the Canadian airline, WestJet has announced the expansion of its codeshare partnerships with Air France and KLM, offering its passengers enhanced access to a broader network of European destinations through Amsterdam Schiphol and Paris Charles de Gaulle, all in a single booking.

"As part of our commitment to fly Canadians wherever they want to go, these expanded partnerships provide our travelers with additional opportunities to discover 59 sought-after European destinations this summer," said Jared Mikoch-Gerke, Director of Alliances at WestJet. "With the latest transatlantic network expansions, travelers from all over the country will enjoy more options when flying through Paris and Amsterdam. For those departing from or connecting through Atlantic Canada, these improvements are game-changers. They offer passengers from Halifax and St. John's or through them more destinations, fewer layovers, and easier access to Europe."

Passengers on WestJet codeshare flights with Air France and KLM will benefit from the convenience of booking their entire journey on a single ticket, with seamless transfers at CDG or AMS, baggage transfers, and the accumulation of WestJet Rewards points throughout the journey.

Travelers flying on WestJet's new route from Halifax to Amsterdam can connect at AMS to 14 destinations across KLM’s European network, including: Brussels, Prague, Helsinki, Bordeaux, Marseille, Nice, Toulouse, Bologna, Florence, Milan, Lisbon, Porto, and Paris, of course.

WestJet passengers departing from Calgary, Halifax, and St. John's can now continue to 4 additional European destinations via Air France: Bucharest, Budapest, Prague, and Bologna through CDG, making a total of 59 onward flights within the diverse network of Air France and KLM throughout Europe.
