Unusual Incident at U.S. Embassy: A 27-year-old tourist allegedly spat at a U.S. Embassy guard in Tel Aviv and threw a bag containing materials for making Molotov cocktails near the embassy.

This afternoon, police received a report at the 100 police hotline about a person who approached the embassy guards, confronted them, spat at a guard, and fled the scene, leaving behind a suspicious bag.

Police bomb disposal experts were called to the scene and conducted an inspection, during which suspicious materials were found in the bag, including flammable material and glass bottles, allegedly indicating equipment for making Molotov cocktails.

Meanwhile, extensive searches were carried out in the city center, and shortly after, the suspect, a 27-year-old tourist, was located, arrested, and transferred for further processing at the police station.
