Lufthansa Group releases its winter flight schedule.
The Lufthansa Group has unveiled its winter schedule for 2025/26, effective from October 26, 2025. It includes a significant expansion of destinations, increased flight frequencies, and an enhanced travel experience, particularly in premium classes.
Lufthansa will operate daily flights from Munich to New York, Chicago, Miami, Shanghai, Cape Town, and Tokyo, as well as three weekly flights to Bangalore, India—all with new Allegris aircraft across all service classes, including first class. This marks the broadest destination offering ever for Allegris, with nearly 100% passenger satisfaction reported.
Expansion is also evident at other airports:
In Munich, A380 flights will continue to popular destinations like Los Angeles, San Francisco, Bangkok, and Delhi.
From Austria, Austrian Airlines will switch to landing at Linate (instead of Malpensa) for flights to Milan—shortening the route to the city. Additionally, a new destination from Innsbruck to Amsterdam will be added.
SWISS will maintain the Krakow route, resume flights to Cluj and Kosice, and keep Washington as a winter destination.
Brussels Airlines will expand African routes by strengthening ties to Lome, Dakar, Conakry, Monrovia, Accra, and Freetown, continuing to establish its status as the group's Africa specialist.
In tourism and leisure:
Eurowings will launch a new route from Berlin to Abu Dhabi, expand operations to Dubai (up to 11 flights per week), start flights from Stuttgart to Jeddah, and launch new routes to Marsa Alam from Cologne, Hamburg, and Berlin.
Discover Airlines will fly for the first time from Frankfurt to the Seychelles—a first-ever direct connection from Germany to this destination—and will also operate luxurious flights to Punta Cana and Dubai, with an addition to Alta in Norway.
The group emphasizes that during the holidays and the upcoming winter season, the focus will remain on stability, punctuality, and seamless service management at airports. All destinations are available for booking now.
And what about Israel? As mentioned, the Lufthansa Group has extended its suspension of flights to Tel Aviv until June 8, but there is still ample time until the winter season.
