Miami's Stunning Cruise Terminals: Miami Port, one of the central and most significant cruise ports globally, continues to transform with the opening of new and impressive terminals that have become architectural attractions in their own right, offering the perfect start to your cruise journey. Each terminal at the port combines modern design, spacious areas, and technological innovation while adhering to advanced quality and environmental standards.

What do the terminals offer cruise passengers at Miami Port? Here's a review:

Terminal AA – The World's Largest Terminal

Terminal AA of MSC Cruises, opened this year 2025, is the most advanced and largest of its kind worldwide, covering approximately 45,500 square meters. The four-story terminal can accommodate up to three ships simultaneously and serve up to 36,000 passengers a day. Terminal AA is in the process of obtaining LEED Gold certification, ensuring energy efficiency and environmental protection.

Terminal A – Royal Caribbean's "Crown of Miami"

Terminal A, known as the "Crown of Miami" for its ship-like contour resembling two passing ships, was opened in 2018 and serves Royal Caribbean International. The terminal spans approximately 15,793 square meters and offers spacious waiting areas, secure check-in zones, and a luggage drop-off area. Terminal A holds LEED Silver certification.

Terminal B – Norwegian Cruise Line's "Pearl of Miami"

Terminal B, known as the "Pearl of Miami", serves Norwegian Cruise Line and covers an area of approximately 17,651 square meters. The terminal features modern waiting areas, efficient reception desks, and central information locations. This terminal holds LEED Gold certification.

Terminal C – Multi-Use and Serving Multiple Companies

Terminal C offers numerous seating areas, efficient reception desks, and information services and serves ships from multiple cruise companies.

Terminals D, E, and F – Expanded and Renovated by Carnival Cruise Line

Terminals D and E of Carnival Cruise Line were expanded in 2018 to accommodate larger vessels, and Terminal F was renovated in 2022. The total area of these terminals is approximately 43,753 square meters, with a design focusing on operational flexibility and efficiency. All three terminals hold LEED Silver certifications.

Terminal G – New in Royal Caribbean

Construction of Terminal G, a new terminal by Royal Caribbean, is expected to begin in the summer of 2025, with an opening planned in 2027. The terminal will be located at the western end of Miami Port.

Terminal J – A Boutique Terminal for Luxury

Terminal J, designed for smaller ships and luxury cruises, offers a unique and private service experience.

Terminal V – Virgin Voyages' Stunning Terminal

Terminal V of Virgin Voyages, opened in 2022, is a modern three-story structure covering approximately 9,290 square meters. The geometric design of the terminal combines inspiration from iconic palm trees in Miami and the area's history as a coconut-picking location. Terminal V holds LEED Gold certification.

The Miami Port website states that it "continues to lead in the global cruise industry, investing in innovative infrastructure that serves not only as a gateway to the sea but also as an architectural and environmental breakthrough, transforming passenger experiences from the moment they step ashore".
