Violent incidents persist in the capital of Germany.
The Berlin police launched an investigation after receiving a report yesterday via their internet hotline about an antisemitic vandalism incident involving a Daimler-Benz vehicle on Fechnerstraße in the Wilmersdorf neighborhood.
The report was made when the vehicle's owner noticed, around 10:15 a.m., a swastika engraved on the hood of her car.
Later in the day, police forces were called to additional vandalism incidents in the area, and during the search, three more vehicles were found on nearby Gieselerstraße with swastikas engraved on them.
Among the damaged cars was a BMW, on which not only swastikas were found but also the rune of the Nazi SS organization.
The investigation is being conducted by the State Protection Department of the Berlin Criminal Police (LKA).
As of the writing of this article, no suspects have been reported apprehended, and the investigation continues.
