AC Hotel by Marriott Vilnius, set to open soon in the Lithuanian capital, will be the first hotel in the country under Marriott's elegant European brand, and as reported earlier this month by PassportNews, it is already attracting significant attention in the hospitality world.

The ambitious project is headed by Evelina Sukyte, a respected figure in the Baltic hospitality industry, who is building an impressive career at the intersection of creative management, strategic thinking, and sensitive human resources management.

Sukyte gained fame by leading Moxy Kaunas Center to win several prestigious Marriott awards, including "Moxie of Moxy - The Difference Maker" in 2021 and 2023, and "Franchise Shining Star Top Performer" in 2022.

Marriott notes that despite coming from a public sector background, Sukyte brought an innovative management approach to hospitality, combining emotional intelligence, systemic thinking, and a deep commitment to her team and guest experience.

She is now embarking on a new chapter, with a clear mission: to transform the new hotel in the heart of Vilnius into a hub of design, comfort, and contemporary cultural experience.

She stated: "AC Hotel is more than a brand - it's a promise. A promise of sophisticated simplicity, refined comfort, and an experience tailored to today's travelers. We will offer our guests a meticulous experience, modern design, quality Basque cuisine, and unique events that will be memorable."

The hotel will merge rigorous international hospitality standards with culinary experiences and cultural events, featuring spaces for intimate gatherings, unique cocktails, and areas designed for a young and creative audience.

The hotel motto - "Inspired by movement, made for moments" - expresses the vision behind the project: to create a place that blends with the city's rhythm and offers a relaxing and elegant space even in the heart of the action.
The opening of the Marriott hotel is just the first sign of what might become a wider trend: Lithuania, and Vilnius specifically, is on its way to becoming one of the major surprises on the tourism map for the upcoming year.

The hotel opening is planned for this coming fall, and the excitement is already palpable in the industry - not only in Lithuania but also among Marriott's prestigious brand partners across Europe.

It's worth noting that there are already direct flights from Israel to Vilnius by Israir, with two weekly flights on Sundays and Thursdays, and the Israeli travel company OverSeas recently began direct flights to Vilnius as well. Thus, the Lithuanian capital is on its way to becoming a refreshing destination for Israelis - and the arrival of the AC Marriott brand strengthens its status.
