Emirates Skywards and Marriott Bonvoy collaboration expands: Emirates Skywards frequent flyer program and the international hotel chain Marriott International (Marriott Bonvoy) announced an expansion of their partnership by launching reciprocal conversion between Points and Miles.

With this initiative, more than 35 million members worldwide can enjoy a broader, more flexible, and rewarding loyalty experience than ever before.

The new approach enables, for the first time, two-way conversion:

Skywards Miles to Marriott Bonvoy Points

This is in addition to the existing collaboration where members can earn double rewards — both for flights with Emirates and stays at Marriott hotels.

Earning and converting in both directions:

• Earning double rewards:

1 Skywards Mile for every USD 1 spent on stays at participating Marriott Bonvoy hotels — in addition to Bonvoy Points.

3 Bonvoy Points for every USD 1 spent on flights with Emirates — in addition to Skywards Miles.

• Converting points to miles:

Members can convert 3 Bonvoy Points to 1 Skywards Mile

Special bonus: 5,000 additional Skywards Miles for every 60,000 Bonvoy Points transferred

• Converting miles to points:

Members can convert 3 Skywards Miles to 2 Marriott Bonvoy Points

A minimum of 3,000 miles is required for conversion

Conversions are performed through the official Emirates Skywards website, allowing members to link both accounts and perform conversions with a single click as needed.

"Connecting Two Leading Global Brands"

Dr. Najib Ben Khedher, Senior Vice President at Emirates Skywards, stated: "Marriott Bonvoy is one of the industry's leading programs, and we are proud to expand our partnership with them. The ability to convert miles to points opens up a new world of rewards — providing access to over 10,000 hotels in 144 countries. This is a significant step for our members, who will now enjoy greater flexibility in choosing how and where to redeem their benefits."

Philip Andropoulos, Regional Commercial Vice President EMEA at Marriott International, added:
"The expansion of the partnership with Emirates Skywards will allow us to offer Bonvoy members more diverse experiences and personalized benefits worldwide. This is a testament to both brands' commitment to a complete customer experience."
