JetBlue is becoming a significant transatlantic airline, expanding its operations to key European destinations this summer.

JetBlue has expanded its transatlantic flight network with the launch of two new direct routes from Boston to Madrid, Spain, and Edinburgh, Scotland. These daily seasonal flights started on May 22, 2025, and will continue until October 25, 2025.

The airline noted that the new routes are part of its strategy to create the 'best leisure network' on the East Coast, further establishing Boston as a major international gateway.

JetBlue has long operated daily flights from New York to London, Paris, Amsterdam, Dublin, and Edinburgh, as well as year-round daily flights from Boston to London-Heathrow and Paris, and summer seasonal flights to Amsterdam, Dublin, and London-Gatwick.

With the addition of these two new routes, JetBlue will operate 7 daily routes from Boston to European destinations this summer.

"With our deep roots in Boston, we are excited to bring more European destinations within reach of New England travelers with JetBlue's low fares, exceptional service, and the convenience of nonstop flights from Logan," said Daniel Schwartz, Senior Vice President of JetBlue.

The airline's two new routes will operate using A321 aircraft.
