A very positive sign in the foreign aviation crisis in Israel: One of Europe's young and advanced airlines is returning to fly to the country.
AirBaltic will resume operating the Riga-Tel Aviv route on June 6, 2025. Flights will run thrice weekly on Sundays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Ticket sales for these flights have begun. The flight scheduled for June 4 has been canceled.
The company will continue to monitor the situation in the region closely alongside air traffic authorities and will operate accordingly.
The Return Continues
While many airlines continue to extend flight cancellations to Israel, such as the Polish airline LOT, which announced yesterday an extension until June 8, several airlines have returned in recent weeks to operate routes to Israel.
