Today, Tuesday, June 3, 2025, approximately 61,200 passengers are expected to travel through Ben Gurion Airport on international flights – both arriving and departing. This activity includes 376 international flights and reflects the ongoing recovery of the aviation industry, partly due to the return of foreign airlines to Israel.
According to the Israel Airports Authority, about 30,800 passengers are expected to depart today on international flights, while approximately 30,400 passengers will enter Israel. This nearly balanced movement indicates a return to normal operations with the opening of the summer season.
Notably, on Saturday, Dutch airline KLM resumed its flights to Israel with a daily route from Amsterdam to Tel Aviv. This follows Air France's return to regular operations last week. United Airlines from the U.S. and Latvia's Air Baltic are also expected to resume their operations soon. Today marks the return of Transavia with two flights from France.
The return of these airlines indicates a clear positive trend for both Ben Gurion Airport and the incoming and outgoing tourism market, which is expected to lead to a significant increase in passenger traffic in the coming weeks.
