Lufthansa Group extends flight suspension to Israel until June 22.

Lufthansa Group flights to Israel, which were canceled until June 15, will remain suspended at least until June 22, 2025. This is an additional extension of the suspension of air activity by Lufthansa, SWISS, Austrian Airlines, Eurowings, and Brussels Airlines to Ben Gurion Airport, due to the ongoing security situation and updated risk assessments.

Lufthansa Group stated: "We are closely monitoring developments in the region and will continue to conduct ongoing situation assessments. The group offers affected passengers the option to cancel tickets at no cost or rebook."

Meanwhile, the American airline United Airlines, Lufthansa Group's partner in the Atlantic Joint Venture, announced that it will advance its return to Israel and is expected to take off from Newark as early as Thursday, June 5, and will strengthen its flights with two daily flights starting Friday, June 6.
