Participants confirmed include airlines such as Iberia (acting as the premium sponsor and hosting the buyer cocktail), American Airlines, and tourism boards from Colombia, Brazil, Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, and more.

"The 2025 edition of WTE Miami shows a 25% increase in the number of confirmed exhibitors compared to last year," says Javier Pérez Palencia, CEO of the exhibition. "We are witnessing broader participation from players across Latin America, Africa, the USA, and Europe. The event provides a unique opportunity for exposure to quality buyers, creating professional connections, and fostering significant collaborations."

The growing interest in the exhibition is also reflected in the geographic diversity of exhibitors. Alongside notable delegations from the Latin and Caribbean world, there is a marked increase in participation from African countries and East Asia — a testament to the rising demand for international partnerships and new tourism routes.

More than 30 exhibitors from Africa have also secured their spots, including Visit Burundi, the tourism board of Burundi, returning after a successful experience last year. “We received excellent exposure and invaluable networking opportunities,” says Nizonzima Bernice, Vice President of Marketing and Brand at Visit Burundi. “We made connections with key players in North and South America and began collaborations with agencies, eco-tourism investors, and even international media interested in Burundi as a new and intriguing destination.”

The WTE Miami experience in 2024 was excellent," says Wendy Justo, Director of the Dominican Republic Tourism Board in Miami. "Important connections were made, and we are pleased to return this year to continue expanding tourism to the Dominican Republic."

Among the returning participants is the American Society of Travel Advisors ASTA, representing over 17,000 travel consultants. “This event truly understands the importance of the travel advisor community," emphasizes Kelly Bergin from ASTA management. "The meetings, new products, and collaboration opportunities were of exceptionally high standards."
