Following the declaration of a special home front situation and the closure of Israeli airspace for takeoffs and landings by security authorities, El Al has updated travelers on the cancellation of all its flights and issued a notice on the continuation of its operations.
This update is current as of Friday, June 13, at 9:30 AM.
Update to El Al's commercial policy: In light of the situation, El Al allows customers who booked flights up to and including June 13 and hold tickets for departures until June 28, 2025 (inclusive), to cancel their flights and convert their tickets to future credit vouchers.
Customers whose flights were canceled due to the security situation can receive a refund. This policy will be updated as needed.
Additionally, El Al flights scheduled for departure until June 30, 2025 (inclusive), have been closed for new reservations in the booking systems until the security situation clarifies, intending to assist Israelis whose flights were canceled.
El Al has informed its customers with flights scheduled for Saturday evening (June 14, 2025) or Sunday (June 15, 2025) not to arrive at the airport and to wait for updates concerning their flights. Customers abroad are advised to arrange lodging until changes in the security guidelines are announced.
