Taglit has evacuated a significant number of those in Israel to Cyprus by sea, in a historic operation.

The participants sailed on the Mano Shipping's cruise ship "Crown Iris," from where they will continue by flight to their home countries.

The voyage, lasting approximately 13 hours, was conducted with the approval of security forces, and priority was given to Taglit participants who completed the ten-day program.

Upon arrival in Cyprus, all participants will continue via charter flights to their home countries - the USA, England, Australia, and others. Taglit is covering all costs, both by sea and air. The Americans will return on charter flights funded by the state of Florida.

Gidi Mark, CEO of Taglit, led the operation from the ground in Cyprus: "Today we saw the true spirit of Taglit - an international family that takes care of the safety of every participant. It was a complex and very moving operation, and we are proud that we managed to bring the young people safely to Cyprus."

Participants from additional countries will receive separate updates regarding upcoming evacuation arrangements - by sea or air.
