Foreign nationals and tourists will be allowed to depart Israel - here's how it will work.

As reported by PassportNews, according to the plan agreed upon by Transport Minister Miri Regev and Tourism Minister Haim Katz, the model is a "two-way flight", in which an aircraft bringing Israeli citizens to Israel can make a short touch down to evacuate tourists still in the country.

A digital form for tourist registration is distributed across various digital platforms, to the Incoming Tourism Organizer's Office, hotels, tour guides, and other industry entities.

The form includes only the full name, phone number, and email address, in accordance with privacy laws and regulations. Interested tourists are invited to fill out this form.

The Tourism Ministry will compile the list in a digital safe and, as needed, transfer it to the National Security Headquarters and the Ministry of Transport, allowing coordination with relevant airlines to evacuate tourists from the country.

Currently, approximately 38,000 tourists are in Israel. It is noted that all land border crossings to Jordan and Egypt are open, with some tourists opting to exit in this manner.

The Tourism Ministry has opened a virtual office offering tourists in Israel information services via digital channels in Hebrew and English.

The service is available 24/7 through digital channels - Email: [email protected]
WhatsApp application via phone number: 972-53-583-5808+
Facebook: Israel Virtual Tourist Office

Meanwhile, the ministry is in contact with industry entities, including hotels and other accommodations, to locate tourists needing assistance due to the security situation.
