November Arrives: All the "Shopping Holidays" Dates of the Year
Open your calendars: These are the dates when shopping holidays will take place around the world - some in stores and some online. In Israel: The Israeli Shopping Holiday will focus on encouraging purchases of Israeli products.
November is the sale month of the year, or as it's become known in recent years: "Shopping Holidays."
In exactly one week, November will arrive, bringing with it various holidays and deals - so open your calendars and mark all the relevant dates.
6-7.11 ShoppingIL
Let's start with the Israeli "Shopping Holiday," ShoppingIL, held in collaboration with Google and the Ministry of Economy, celebrating a decade since its inception. This year it is noted that the Israeli Shopping Holiday will encourage purchases from Israeli businesses to help rebuild the Israeli industry severely impacted during the war.
11.11 Chinese Singles' Day
This day, marked on the "1-1-1-1" date, has become a tough competitor to America's big shopping day, "Black Friday," and the digital shopping day "Cyber Monday," at least concerning Chinese shoppers.
Last year, the average spending for customers from China was a staggering $767 per person (in 2022, it was $643). Most participating businesses this day are Chinese, including popular sales sites from China.
29.11 Black Friday
The "classic" holiday that started the shopping tradition will be held at the end of the month. This primarily involves in-store deals rather than online offers. In the United States, it is celebrated more than anywhere else, with rock-bottom prices, mainly for electrical goods, but not only.
Black Friday is recognized worldwide today but in addition to the United States mainly in Canada, the UK, France, Germany, Australia, and New Zealand.
2.12 Cyber Monday
The big digital shopping day spills into the following month and will take place this year on 2.12. Originally created to "clear out" products not sold on "Black Friday," in recent years it has become notable and a shopping holiday in its own right.
In December, the Dubai Shopping Festival will also be held, which you can read about here.
