The cruise giant Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) announced today (Thu) that two of its ships in the fleet - Norwegian Bliss and Norwegian Breakaway - will undergo significant updates to offer additional experiences for guests.

According to the company's announcement, the upgrade includes a completely new cinema and dining experience under the title: Silver Screen Bistro - a new outdoor entertainment concept. "Guests will have the opportunity to experience the new bistro, the Silver Screen Bistro, an immersive place of movies and dining for the enjoyment of guests of all ages. Large, especially comfortable armchairs and retractable tables will allow indulgence in a great menu," the statement said.

Additionally, the company announced the expansion of the Cagney's Steakhouse and Teppanyaki restaurant. The mentioned upgrade also includes the expansion of guest rooms in different categories, including rooms in the luxury area with the concept of a ship within a ship The Haven by Norwegian.

The update of Norwegian Bliss will begin on January 17, 2025 - before its Caribbean season launch, while the improvements of Norwegian Breakaway will start on February 19, 2025 - before the start of the European itineraries series.
