The airline Wizz Air has announced a new payment option added to its service offerings: starting this week, it is possible to pay using American Express (Amex) credit cards for booking flights and making other purchases on the company’s website, app, and in-flight.
This move aligns with the company's global service initiative, "Customer First Compass," under which Wizz Air is expanding existing payment methods to meet the needs of passengers, including business travelers who prefer to use Amex cards.
According to the company's CFO, Iain Wetherall: "We are excited to offer American Express as a payment option to our passengers across Europe. Many business travelers prefer to use Amex, and this move allows them to enjoy our attractive prices on our extensive network with greater convenience and flexibility."
