EasyJet, one of Europe's leading low-cost carriers, has announced the launch of six new routes to the Cape Verde archipelago as part of its expansion strategy for the upcoming winter season.

The expansion includes new flights from Lisbon and Porto to Boa Vista, Praia, and São Vicente, as well as a new route from Milan to the island of Sal, bringing the total number of active routes to Cape Verde to ten.

According to EasyJet, the company will offer more than 210,000 seats in the winter season of 2025, increasing its capacity on routes between Portugal and the islands by 225%.

It is worth noting that the British airline has suspended all flights to Israel until October 25, 2025, due to the security situation.

The suspension affects all routes the company operated from Israel, including flights to London, Berlin, Milan, Geneva, Basel, and other European cities.

At the peak of its operations, EasyJet operated more than ten direct routes to Israel.
