Spain Highlights Aragón
Spain is participating this year as a Premium Sponsor through Turespaña - the official Spanish tourism agency - with a special focus on the Aragón region.

Jorge Moncada, Director General of Tourism for the Government of Aragón, states that their participation is part of an effort to present the region as a must-visit destination for American travelers. From landscapes to heritage, Aragón offers a rich and accessible experience, he says.

Zaragoza, the regional capital, will be featured prominently, showcasing its Roman history, ties to the artist Goya, and its wine culture - especially as the World Capital of the Garnacha grape. Thanks to high-speed trains that reach the city in just 90 minutes from both Madrid and Barcelona, Zaragoza is positioned as an ideal and sustainable travel hub.

Central America on the Map
The Central America Tourism Agency (CATA) used last year's event to promote the region as an attractive multi-destination area for U.S. travelers.

Boris Iraheta, Secretary General of CATA, shared that meetings with organizations like IATA and the airline Volaris enabled progress in air connectivity and regional travel initiatives.

“This event provided us with a strategic platform to showcase the rich tourism offerings of Central America and promote the Centroamérica Travel Market - Honduras 2025, an exclusive space for marketing the tourism offerings of the isthmus to the professional audience attending the fair".

Precision Networking at the Core
The event focuses on strategic networking, offering pre-arranged B2B meetings between exhibitors, travel agencies, tour operators, media, and digital platforms.

Adriana Ron Pedrique, Portfolio Manager USA & Canada at Iberia, describes the event as focused, personal, and highly valuable - bringing the right people together under one roof.

“WTE Miami stands out for its efficiency and targeted approach. It offers the opportunity to connect with the right people, and everything is organized to make the most of your time. The event feels more focused, more personal, and especially valuable thanks to the strong presence of both U.S. and Latin American industry leaders in one place", Adriana Ron Pedrique adds.

CATA also reported growing interest from agencies specializing in community-based and sustainable tourism, along with new opportunities to collaborate with U.S. travel influencers.
