Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER) now offers passengers a convenient new option for booking long-distance bus and train tickets directly through the airport's official website or the BER app.
This digital upgrade enables passengers from all over Germany and Europe to compare travel options to the airport and book the most convenient route, all in one place.
Quick Access from Germany and Poland
Thanks to a developed transportation infrastructure, BER is now accessible to travelers residing outside of Berlin and Brandenburg. Residents of Dresden, Rostock, Hanover, Leipzig, Halle, and even travelers from western Poland (Szczecin and Poznan) can reach the airport in just two to three hours.
In total, about 10 million people are within quick access to the airport, from which flights depart to more than 150 destinations worldwide.
All Roads Lead to the Terminal
Buses and trains stop directly at the airport grounds, easily leading passengers to Terminals 1 and 2, just a few minutes' walk from check-in and the gates.
The airport's CEO, Aletta von Massenbach, stated, "With our new booking tool, passengers can easily compare transportation options and book instantly. BER is easily accessible from Rostock, Hanover, Dresden, Leipzig, Halle, and western Poland - and this is an important step in enhancing the travel experience to the airport for both regional and international passengers."

The new tool was developed by Distribusion Technologies from Berlin, which operates an international platform for managing and providing long-distance transportation services, including buses, trains, and shuttles.
The company engages in similar projects at airports like Dublin and Naples and collaborates with a range of transportation operators and distribution companies throughout Germany.
Where to Next?
The airport management intends to expand the services offered to passengers in the future, increase awareness of transportation options, and ensure easy access for even more distant audiences.
