British Airways Expands Routes for Winter 2025

British Airways, which decided to forego its Israeli route this summer and renew it in the upcoming winter, is expanding its short-haul network with two new additions to its route map.

BA Euroflyer, a subsidiary of British Airways based at Gatwick Airport, will operate year-round routes to Morocco's capital, Rabat, and the Austrian urban holiday destination Graz, starting this winter.

BA Cityflyer, based at London City Airport, also announced it will fly from its base to Madrid, Spain, beginning December 1, 2025.

The flights will include a Club Europe option, offering a larger personal space, a full meal with beverages from the bar, and additional baggage. Passengers flying in Club Europe with BA Euroflyer will have access to the recently revamped British Airways Club Lounge, featuring a new bar serving cocktails and drinks, alongside new design and furniture.

Alongside Marrakech and Agadir, Rabat will become the third destination in Morocco served by British Airways. According to Morocco's Tourism Ministry, the country set a new tourism record, hosting an additional 1.3 million visitors compared to the same period last year. This is a 68% increase compared to 2019, and with Rabat added to British Airways' network, customers wishing to travel to Morocco from the UK have more options when booking.

Flights to the Moroccan capital will operate twice weekly on Wednesdays and Sundays using an Airbus A320 from London Gatwick. The service begins on November 5, 2025.

The launch of the new Graz route increases British Airways' Austrian destinations to four, joining Vienna, Salzburg, and Innsbruck. This new route marks a significant expansion, as there are currently no other direct flights operating between London and Graz.

Flights to Graz will operate three times a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, using an Airbus A320 fleet from London Gatwick. The service begins on November 21, 2025.

Karen Hilton, CEO of BA Euroflyer, said: "We are excited to further enhance our connectivity between London and Austria with the addition of Graz. We will be the only direct operator between the two cities, offering more choices for our customers, whether for business, leisure, or visiting friends and family."

BA Cityflyer, a subsidiary of British Airways based at London City Airport, will operate 11 weekly flights to the Spanish capital, increasing the total weekly flights to 44 alongside the existing Heathrow route.

Whether customers are traveling for work or leisure, the additional flights from London's most central airport provide clients with even more choices when booking. The timing of incoming and outgoing flights has been optimized for customers wishing to connect to other services from Madrid, especially to South American destinations, including Bogota, Montevideo, and Lima.

Flights to all the new routes are now available for booking on www.ba.com.
