Over 20 Injured in Hollywood Car Incident

Emergency services report a mass casualty incident with several in critical condition. Driver's identity and circumstances remain unclear

Over 20 Injured in Hollywood Car Incident.

Today (Saturday) at 1:59 AM local time in Los Angeles, the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) received a report of a vehicle hitting a crowd near 4661 W Santa Monica Blvd in East Hollywood. According to the official report on the Fire Department's website, this is a mass casualty incident.

LAFD teams arriving at the scene reported over 20 injured individuals. Three are in critical condition, six in serious condition, and the rest have moderate injuries. All injured individuals were treated on-site and transported to hospitals.

At the time of this announcement, the Fire Department spokesperson is on the way to the scene. As of now, there is no official statement from the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) regarding the circumstances of the incident or the driver's identity.
