St. Georges Tavern

George's tavern is a long-standing family venue offering authentic Cypriot food without catering to tourists. There is no menu; everything changes with the season and what the fishermen bring in or what is available at the butcher or market.
Fresh appetizers include Cypriot mezze, eggplant, egg salad, pickled fish and vegetables, olives, and fresh and grilled cheeses. Enjoy fresh fish and meat dishes, typically lamb, accompanied by ouzo or Cypriot white wine.

Ocean Basket

With all due respect to taverns, enjoying a wealth of fresh fish is a completely different experience, especially when it's priced much lower than back home. Ocean Basket is a well-known South African chain that opened a popular branch by the Paphos marina. The place is perfect for the whole family and all culinary cravings at a reasonable price.
Here you will find platters of seafood and fried fish, fish and chips, colorful shakes, and gyros for those who need it. Small starter plates include pickled fish, salads, and wonderful bread, of course, beers and ouzo, all with a sea view. A no-fuss spot suitable for a light dinner or quick lunch.

The Lodge Steak & Seafood Co

One of the oldest and most surprising restaurants in Paphos - a South African steakhouse specializing in aged steaks, quality meat, and fish and seafood dishes inspired by South African cuisine. The meat cuts are aged in the restaurant's aging fridge and grilled on the traditional Braai. Everyone will find something to their taste here. Imported South African wines are served alongside a rich menu of cocktails and other drinks. Suitable for a special evening meal in a Western-elegant atmosphere.

Kathikas Square Gin Bar

The British influx into Paphos has created quite a few changes in the culinary culture and drinking culture. So between ouzo and wine, you'll find many English beers and gin. One of the cooler and more unique places is outside the center of Paphos, a bar dedicated entirely to gin, with over 100 different types of gin and, of course, a variety of tonics. The place is run by Britons who retired for a life of calm and leisure. You will also find delicious bites, pizzas, pancakes, plates with meats and cheeses, and a cool and varied crowd.

Bit of Israel - Geppeto Restaurant

Geppeto is a Mediterranean chef's restaurant led by Israeli chef Rafi Cohen, who worked for about 15 years in fine dining restaurants in Australia. The restaurant offers high-level breakfasts and dinners and is a keen supporter of the FARM TO TABLE philosophy, buying ingredients, meat, cheese, and vegetables from local suppliers to ensure the freshest and most authentic flavors.
The restaurant boasts over 100 types of wine, carefully selected from Cyprus and surrounding areas. Bread is baked daily on site, the atmosphere is pleasant and inviting, and the dining experience is enhanced by the chef's and kitchen team's personal touches, bringing a mix of various international cuisines to Cypriot locality.
