The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued an important update for travelers heading to Colombia: Starting July 16, 2025, Israeli citizens holding an Israeli passport are required to obtain an entry visa in advance to visit the country. This directive is already in effect.

According to the new guidelines from the Colombian government, the visa must be obtained through the Colombian consulate in Israel or via Colombian embassies in other countries worldwide.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs advises those planning to visit the South American country to begin the application process as early as possible to avoid delays or denied entry at Colombia's borders.
