Israel will send aerial assistance to Cyprus this evening in response to widespread fires raging on the island.

According to a statement from the Foreign Ministry, the assistance will include aircraft from the Israeli Air Force and will be coordinated in full with Cypriot authorities.

The decision was made under the guidance of Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar after a conversation with Cypriot Foreign Minister Constantinos Kombos. During the discussion, the ministers agreed on continued coordination to facilitate rapid assistance.

This move highlights the ongoing cooperation between the two nations, especially in regional emergencies.
