Wizz Air, the Hungarian low-cost airline, marks an extraordinary milestone this week by surpassing the threshold of more than 1,000 flights per day across its international routes, positioning itself among the most active and leading airlines in Europe.

According to the company, over 200,000 passengers fly with Wizz Air daily, with planes taking off on average every 90 seconds.

The 1,000th flight departed last Friday from Craiova Airport in Romania to London, one of the airline's busiest routes.

Currently, Wizz Air operates a network of approximately 800 routes, connecting around 200 airports in over 50 countries, and employs more than 8,000 pilots and crew members worldwide.

It should be noted that Wizz Air will resume its flights to Israel on August 8 after halting them due to the onset of the conflict with Iran last month.
