Dubai International Airport (DXB) concludes the first half of 2025 with particularly impressive figures: 46 million passengers passed through from January to June, an increase of 2.3% compared to the same period last year.
The second quarter alone also showed significant growth, with 22.5 million passengers, a jump of 3.1% from the previous year.
April stood out as the busiest month of the second quarter, with passenger traffic of 8 million, indicating a continued positive trend at the airport, which is considered one of the busiest and most important worldwide.
According to official forecasts, the airport is expected to handle approximately 96 million passengers by year's end, a target which, if achieved, will strengthen DXB's status as the world's leading international gateway.
The airport's success is an integral part of promoting Dubai's D33 initiative - a long-term plan aiming to build an innovative, stable, and sustainable economy, while encouraging inclusive growth.
