Airlines Continue to Return to Israel: Brussels Airlines Resumes Flights This Week
Following Lufthansa and Austrian Airlines resuming their flights to Tel Aviv on August 1, Brussels Airlines now confirms it will resume flights to Israel starting from August 13, as per the original plan. The airline will operate two weekly flights between Brussels and Tel Aviv.
According to the company, "The safety and security of our passengers are our top priorities, and we continue to closely monitor the situation in the region." It was also emphasized that schedule changes may occur depending on developments.
Eurowings continues to suspend its flights to Israel and has not updated the resumption date.
Meanwhile, SWISS also plans to resume its route to Tel Aviv starting September 25, as announced, with an A330 wide-body aircraft as part of its regular operations returning to Israel.
Recall that El Al canceled the Brussels route three years ago and there has been no direct line to Belgium's capital.
