Jerusalem's hotel industry is evolving.

Following Accor Group's new luxury hotel, the IHG Group is also announcing a new luxury hotel in the capital - the InterContinental Jerusalem. This new hotel is set to open in April 2026.

Designed by NY - Dan Kwan Interior Designer in association with Wilson Associates, the hotel will feature 237 rooms and suites with views of the Old City, a banquet hall for 350 guests, and 7 adjoining meeting rooms. It will also include a rooftop restaurant with panoramic views, an elegant chef restaurant, a luxurious spa, an indoor pool, and a health center.

Blending global luxury with Jerusalem's unique character, the hotel will serve as a major destination for both Israeli and international tourists, business travelers, diplomatic delegations, and unique groups.

Appointed as the hotel's General Manager is Eyal Goldberger, who brings over two decades of experience in establishing and managing luxury hotels, including Hyatt Centric Las Olas, Marriott Brickell Miami, Hyatt Centric South Beach, and in Jerusalem - The David Citadel. This is the fourth hotel he is opening and the first in Israel.

"It is a great honor for me to return home and lead a project that will become a symbol of luxury, sophistication, and global service at the heart of Jerusalem," Goldberger stated. "We are creating a destination that connects a glorious past with modern comfort, as Jerusalem deserves."

Galit Heller Halfon has been appointed Vice President of Marketing and Sales, bringing over 30 years of experience in the hotel industry, particularly in luxury hospitality.

Heller Halfon has also served as Vice President of Marketing and Sales and established The Jaffa Hotel, part of the global Marriott chain, in Tel Aviv-Jaffa. She also led marketing and sales for the Mamilla Hotel in Jerusalem for nearly a decade.
