SWISS airline unveils today (August 20) the SWISS First Grand Suite - an exclusive first-class area combining two adjacent suites into one private isolated space.
The new space is designed for premium passengers seeking privacy, tranquility, and flexibility. It can serve as a bedroom, office, meeting room, or even a private restaurant - an experience aimed at simulating a personal loft in the sky.
The Grand Suite is part of the SWISS Senses concept, which offers a more personalized flight experience for passengers. It is an additional step of the company to enhance the first-class experience, alongside the current options: the Single Suite by the window and Suite Plus in the center, which can be adapted for two passengers.

It is especially suited for couples, families, or business people who want privacy and uninterrupted personal space during the flight.
SWISS is one of the few airlines in the world that offers first class on all its intercontinental flights, and the Grand Suite is expected to strengthen its differentiation in the luxury market. The booking will be available exclusively through a dedicated first-class center, accompanied by personal concierge service, and up to three passengers only.
The launch will start in early 2026 on new Airbus A350 aircraft and upgraded Airbus A330 planes, and later in the company's Boeing 777 fleet.

Heike Birlenbach, Chief Commercial Officer at SWISS: “With the SWISS First Grand Suite, we expand our first-class services with a new option, specifically designed for premium customers seeking more privacy and more freedom to design their personal space on the flight. The suite is meant to give our guests the feeling of having their own loft above the clouds - a space they can use for relaxation, work, or simply to enjoy the experience. It is another step in the development of our SWISS Senses concept, aimed at providing a truly premium flight experience.”
