Flights Resume to Denmark: In about two months, you can fly directly to Denmark with the Scandinavian airline SAS. Representatives of the company confirmed to PassportNews today. After nearly a decade's absence from Ben Gurion Airport, the company will operate two weekly flights on the Tel Aviv-Copenhagen route starting from the company's flight schedule on October 26, 2025.

The company will also offer connecting flights to many destinations across Scandinavia such as Stockholm, Oslo, Bergen, Gothenburg, Billund, and more, and may open additional routes between Tel Aviv and destinations in Northern Europe in the future.

SAS flights to Tel Aviv will be operated with new Airbus A320neo aircraft in two classes - economy and business. Ticket prices will start at $150 one way.

The Scandinavian airline recently purchased more than 55 new aircraft from Airbus, including the 320 and 350 models. Last month, the Air France-KLM Group announced a dramatic increase in its shareholding in the airline, from 19.9% to 60.5%, making the group the controlling shareholder.

Last year, commercial cooperation began between SAS and the Air France-KLM Group, with the implementation of code-share agreements and expanded interline agreements between the companies, along with SAS joining the SkyTeam alliance.

SAS Scandinavian Airlines has been represented in Israel for over 23 years by Scandinavian Travel, led by the veteran aviation executive Yaakov (Yaki) Cohen.
