According to official announcements from Italian authorities, today (Friday, September 5th) a nationwide train strike continues, and tomorrow (Saturday, September 6th) an aviation strike is expected.
The train strike has been ongoing since last night and will conclude this evening at 18:00. During the day, only "guaranteed services" are operational—trains during peak hours: 06:00–09:00 in the morning and 18:00–21:00 in the evening.
Tomorrow, in the aviation sector, a general strike will occur, lasting four hours—from 12:00 to 16:00. The strike is expected to cause delays and disruptions to flight schedules, as the National Authority for Civil Aviation (ENAC) published an official list of guaranteed flights that will operate during the strike.
Authorities urge travelers to stay updated on official channels and plan their journeys accordingly.
