This is a historical moment for El Al Israel Airlines, with the appointment of Dina Ben Tal Genensia as the company’s new CEO. She will replace Avigal Soreq, who recently resigned after he was appointed CEO of Delek US.
Ben Tal Gennassia was appointed El Al’s VP of Commercial & Industry Affairs in March 2021, in place of Mickey Strasburger. Before that, she served as Head of El Al’s Revenue Management Division and was previously a partner at TASC Consulting & Capital.
She has held various senior positions at El Al in recent years, both in trade, finance, and strategy. She has also been involved in several important moves recently made by the company and is highly valued in the aviation industry, especially at El Al.
For the past six years, she has served as Head of El Al’s Revenue Management Division. As part of her role, Ben Tal was responsible, among other things, for managing revenues from passenger operations amounting to $2 billion per annum.
