Gulf Air, Bahrain’s national carrier, announced today (Wednesday) the plans to increase its flight frequency to and from Israel to three weekly flights, starting July 2022.
Gulf Air flights are quite popular also thanks to its connecting flights to a variety of destinations in the East, including Bangkok, Manila, Singapore, Columbus, and the Maldives, plus eight destinations in India, such as Delhi and Mumbai.
Tal Aviation, representing Gulf Air in Israel, told Passport News that as of October 30, the carrier also plans to add Goa as its ninth destination in India.
The flights from Israel will operate on Mondays (departing at 9:20), Tuesdays (17:40), and Thursdays (16:20).
Increasing the flight frequency to three a week is part of Gulf Air’s ongoing efforts to expand its services and provide passengers with “greater choice and seamless connectivity,” just in time for the summer season and Jewish holidays, and allow Israelis to discover Bahrain and “the world via the airline’s home and hub, Bahrain International Airport.”
