On July 12, the Renaissance Hotel in Tel Aviv will host an international tourism event to promote tourism in the Visegrad (V4) countries, under the slogan Discover Central Europe.

The Visegrad Group was established in 1991 as a cultural & political alliance between the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, and Slovakia. Tourism-wise, this alliance holds four times the luxurious spas, historic sites and cities, museums, stunning natural beauty, and UNESCO World Heritage Sites that each country can offer.

The event will be attended by dozens of tourism wholesalers, DMCs, and senior travel executives from the tourism industry of all four member states of the Visegrad Group, as well as their counterparts from Israel.

Slovakia, sitting at the heart of the Visegrad Group, and of Europe for that matter, is quite compact but holds a myriad of tourist attractions. The High Tatras, spas, quality wineries, picturesque villages, Sports & leisure, caves, ski resorts, hundreds of castles, towns where time stood still, museums, rich culture, and many UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

The country is easily accessible either by landing in the capital city of Bratislava or from Vienna, Prague, or even Budapest.

The upcoming event in Tel Aviv is an excellent opportunity to get acquainted with the country’s natural treasures and historical monuments, rich folk culture, and busy city life.
