Israelis still welcome in Bulgaria

According to an updated announcement issued a while ago, vaccinated or recovering Israelis are still allowed to enter Bulgaria, subject to a PCR negative result before arrival

As first reported yesterday on Passport News in Hebrew, Bulgaria will not deny entry to vaccinated or recovering Israeli passengers, although the State of Israel will be classified as a red country starting this Thursday, January 20.

Passport News was the first to reach out to Bulgarian officials to learn about the government’s intention to update Bulgaria’s entry requirements and allow fully inoculated passengers to visit Bulgaria, provided they present a digital vaccination certificate.

According to the new update regarding entry requirements for Israelis visiting Bulgaria, Israeli passengers can visit Bulgaria by presenting either a vaccination certificate or a recovery certificate and a negative PCR test.

Here’s a link to the official and updated decision, signed by the Bulgarian Minister of Health, Asena Hristova Serbezova.
