On Tuesday, May 17, ISSTA group celebrated the opening of the summer season and its official move from corona-induced defense to post-corona offense, hosting an impressive party at Reading 3, in the Tel Aviv port area.

The almost full attendance of most senior figures in the tourism and aviation industry in Israel was quite as impressive, and all came to celebrate with ISSTA, enjoy a concert by leading Israeli singer Ivri Lider, and dance the night away with DJ Tomer Meisner.

ISSTA Group’s holdings include ISSTA Israel, ISSTA Real Estate, Walla Tours, Memsi, Academy Travel, Last Minute, American Express Travel, Kosher Vacation, Gulliver, Shufersal Travel and Millennium, ISSTA Sports, Global Surf, Ortal Tour and more.

Achishai Gal, CEO & owner of ISSTA Group, personally greeted many of the guests who came to honor his company, saying: “This marks the first day that we as a team move from defense to offense. This evening we will talk neither about what we have been through in the last couple of years nor about the changes we have made. I just want to sincerely thank all of you ISSTA Group employees, board members, business partners in all of our holdings, and the many captains of the industry, airlines, hotel chains, technology suppliers, and company consultants for your continued support.”

Addressing all company employees, Gal further added, “We are the perfect team.”

As a token of appreciation, ISSTA Group also presented some awards to managers who had to leave the company during the pandemic after serving more than 15 years.

ISSTA management further shared with all those present the strategic moves it made during the last two years of the pandemic – investments in the company website infrastructure, new technological tools for agents, and a new hotel bought and renovated in New York City.

A source within the company mentioned that ISSTA plans to hold next year’s celebrations in Thailand.
