This Privacy Policy constitutes an integral part of the agreement between you, the user of the Passport.news website and the content displayed therein (hereinafter collectively: the "Website") and the company operating the Website (M.T.T. The Israeli Company for Tourism and Aviation Information Ltd.) regarding the use of the Website. The agreement consists of the Terms of Use (which can be viewed by clicking here) and this Privacy Policy.
All terms in this Privacy Policy shall have the meaning ascribed to them in the Terms of Use unless explicitly stated otherwise herein.
The company makes reasonable efforts to protect the user's privacy and safeguard it in accordance with applicable law.
By using the Website, the user consents to the collection, retention, and use of the information they provide and any data generated from the analysis of such information, as well as any information about the user obtained by the company through the use of the Website. The user acknowledges that they are not legally required to provide information and that the provision of such information is done voluntarily and with their consent. The user may, at any time, request the company to (a) delete or correct the information they have provided and/or (b) remove themselves from the mailing list they subscribed to by contacting [email protected] or through the mailing itself. The company will act in accordance with the Terms of Use.
The company will retain the information for a period not exceeding the necessary duration and intends to safeguard it appropriately and securely in accordance with applicable law.
The company may collect and/or generate data about the user and their use of the Website through one or more of the following means: (a) Information provided by the user when registering for mailing services and/or registering on the Website and/or for any of the services and/or content offered; (b) Data collected by the company based on the user's use of the Website; (c) Statistical data that does not personally identify the user.

Any user who joins the Passport.news subscription and distribution list through the Website to receive updates and news regarding the tourism, aviation, and hospitality sectors domestically and globally consents to receive direct mail via their email, including information, newsletters, offers, advertisements, or marketing materials (hereinafter: "Mailing"). Any user who registers as a subscriber can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the designated link in the Mailing or by sending an email to [email protected] to confirm receipt. Upon receiving the unsubscribe request, the company will act within a reasonable timeframe to remove the user from the mailing list. By agreeing to this Privacy Policy, the user acknowledges that technical issues may sometimes arise during the unsubscribe process, and as long as the company acts in good faith, the user waives any claims, lawsuits, or demands against the company regarding such issues.
The company may occasionally engage third parties, including advertising companies, to display advertisements on the Website and/or provide other services. Some advertisements and/or services may originate from third-party servers. These parties may collect information about the user's activity. Additionally, these parties may use information (excluding personal data as defined below) about the user's online activities to deliver advertisements for products and services that may interest the user, subject to their own privacy policies, which may differ from the company's Privacy Policy and are available on the third-party websites.

The above exceptions do not impose any obligation on the company to report and/or transfer information to any party, and the user and/or their representatives shall have no claim, demand, or lawsuit against the company regarding the transfer and/or non-transfer of information or the consequences thereof.
Various activities and services on the Website may include additional privacy terms. Unless explicitly stated otherwise in writing, such additional terms shall apply in addition to this Privacy Policy.
In the event of any contradiction between the provisions of this document and the Terms of Use, the provisions of the Terms of Use shall prevail.
